The company has a strong bias against older workers. They don't hire them. It's too big - too impersonal now. You can't be very entrepreneurial anymore. If you want a job - okay. If you want a career, you might find better opportunities elsewhere. I've really been unimpressed with leadership there. Yes, they make their numbers but innovation seems lacking. The fun is gone....

Accenture is great place to work in many ways. However, it has a very strong hierarchy and internal practices - in good and bad. Individualism is not a good thing at Accenture (at least in Finland, not sure about other geographies)

I have worked for 10 companies over my 25 year career history (8 yrs at Accenture) and 1 year each at Hackett and Huron and, hands down, Accenture is by far the best place to work not only as a consulting firm but as a company in general. The compensation is terrific, the people are amazing and the leadership clearly knows what they're doing and where they're going. If given the opportunity I would go back to work for Accenture in a heartbeat.
