I would recommend it but with some reservations. There is an opportunity to learn a lot and some real talent to learn from but the firm feels like a giant octopus just trying to suck the soul out of people. It just is too large to allow people to make real connections and feel valued. There is this sense that if you leave it doesn't matter because someone else will be in line to replace. Also, management is just very removed and a lot of decisions are being taken without clear explanations to the rest of the firm as to why they were taken. On the bright side, the firm is truly diverse and the projects can be interesting.

Very professional and political. Sr Managers and MDs are very diverse in work style and preparations, with some talented ones and some douchebags just trying to scrape by. Everyone works long hours regardless of level and connections are extremely important. Analysts and consultants are smart and hard working. What stands out most to me is how impersonal it all feels compared to a small firm.
