The company used to be a great place to work when it was a partnership or something quite similar to that. Now it is a giant software factory that pretends to be a niche consulting firm. People are mistreated and careers are not transparent.

Accenture pays a lot of lip-service to valuing people, but in my experience, they have not valued or respected their employees since the company went public in 2001. I know many high performing colleagues who served Andersen Consulting/Accenture for 20+ years who were dismissed and replaced with offshore resources with little notice.

Excellent branding and marketing, but internally, brand is not reflective of reality. There is no loyalty to people. It is all about the bottom line, and "doing more with less," as my former Director once told me.
