Applied Value has a fantastic culture - a flat, open organization with no politics that's focused on helping clients succeed with a lean growth mindset. The level of responsibility early on is unmatched, and the learning curve as a result can be much steeper but also that much more rewarding. The culture is very much central to AV's mission, being an open and fact-based organization that works quickly to make changes when needed. Everyone is supportive of each other and is open to helping when others need it. We're big on letting people forge their own path to success, and giving them the reins early on if they show potential. There's also the element of being able to diversify into other areas given Applied Value's multiple lines of work (private equity, social responsibility, analytics/digital platforms), which really pushes everyone at AV to grow outside of their comfort zone and really apply what they've done in consulting to new areas.
