There are several aspects of A.T. Kearney's culture that stand out to me. One is collaborative nature of the people - everyone wants to work together to achieve results. People at the firm are always willing to lend a hand if you need help. In addition, consultants at the firm are driven to work hard and provide actionable recommendations that provide results for our clients. People also enjoy socializing and spending time together.

It was always my take, and advise to potential hires, that you should join a consulting firm to learn as much as you can to engage people, analyze, run, improve and transform a company to perform better. This way you can learn to be a leader in a corporation. If you are considering being a professional consultant you have to understand that until you are a Partner in a private firm (a real partnership) you are nothing more than the tools of the company to make money. They will treat you as a machine part - nothing more and nothing less. This advise for every large firm I have encountered (most on your list) holds true. So, the best perks were learning how to do what is necessary to improve a company and you were learning from some of the best in the world!!!
