Cloudflare is a place to come if you want to be a part of building something great. You'll be empowered to forge a way to do things, rather than handed a set of instructions. This is an amazing place if you are entrepreneurial, hard working, creative, and thoughtful. This isn't a place to come if you are looking to add a logo to your resume or for someone to provide you with a career path (ie looking to be promoted). So come here if you love the work and the sense of accomplishing great things, not if you want to job hop your way to the top.

Overall, an amazing place to work. Since our product is so complex and technical, we should do more to educate and train employees on all teams and bake that into the culture. If we did that I think our company could be more unified and have a better understanding of our goals.

I think the culture at Cloudflare is quite stellar. There's a good balance of communication between different teams. Our company seems to be expanding rapidly, and that's always a danger to culture as there are so many new faces, and new processes you have to follow when that happens.

If the question is "what would I change about the company", I am most excited about bringing onboard a Head of People and maturing strong people pathing and development. If the question is "What would I change in general?" I want to see more women leaders in the world, and I want to recognize women leaders at every level. We need examples of professional success in as many places as possible.

Our Mission is build a better internet which we do, but we are also running a business. So sometimes we do things that satisfy the mission that do not help the business (at least revenue wise), but we are running and building a business.
