Again, Cognizant mirrors the "profile" of the Indian-based Technology / Consulting firms. Although respected for their position in the market, ALL of these firms (Cognizant to some extended extremes) DO NOT embrace a non-Indian workforce and, concurrently, are not adaptable or tolerant to U.S. business & market environments. Thus a major churn in client relationships based principally on eventual "out-of-touch / Indian-only" perspectives of systemic & business solutions provided.

Cognizant allows specific individual agendas at the senior leadership level to work (in most cases, counter-productively) autonomously from the stated direction of the firm. Low cost option. Work is often delivered late or more expensively. Better for staff augmentation. Trying to compete with Accenture and Deloitte but haven't gotten up to par. Ends up being a staff augmentation partner in projects with Accenture and Deloitte as the consulting partners.

Their sales team over promises and do not understand what needs to been done to fulfill promises. Cognizant lies to the client and are not ethical. They off shore roles that need to be onsite to be successful. They expect team members to be spies on other contract teams to poach contracts. Cognizant does comply with client process and expectations; they only what they know. They do not understand how to communicate with USA workers and how to operate in the USA business world. They lied to me in my interview saying my role was firm for 5 years; it was dependent on Cognizant awarded another client contract after 6 months.

Meeting explaining reporting requirements of the client were being shared by leadership after 6 months on the contract.
