Former Employee - Programmer Analyst Trainee
Transparency. Cognizant's overall culture was based on allowing all levels of the company to act and communicate in a transparent manner.

Current Employee - Senior Manager Consulting
Strong reputation enabled by deep technical relationships across client base very extensive in certain industries i.e. largest providers of business and IT consulting services in terms of revenue in those respective industries with a ability to significantly enhance its offerings
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
Unless you are an Indian H1B, you have no future at Cognizant.
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
Brings in high level strategic consultants initially to impress client and replaces them with mill employee to boost profits.
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
greedy, unprofessional marginal
Employee - Associate/Consultant
Cognizant's market reputation is practically non existant because they have never done any real consulting exercises. They are only known as an IT services firm.
Employee - Associate/Consultant
It has a very IT services industry culture which is basically to just do as much is required. Innovation and real business knowledge is not encouraged.
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
Releases senior employees just before bonuses are released
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
limited diversity high indian population to keep people cost low
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
One of my most disappointing work experiences
Employee - Associate/Consultant
For an IT company, they have good perks. But for a consulting firm, they don't provide anything!!!
Employee - Associate/Consultant
Cognizant doesn't believe in bonuses. They are no where close to paying consultants what other similar firms pay. Their pay do consultants is generally in the lines of what they pay developers and testers.
Employee - Associate/Consultant
The Cognizant Business Consulting leadership is comparatively very new to Consulting. They have a very IT services development mindsets and are not people a consultant can look up to. They are role models for developers and testers, not consultants.
Employee - Associate/Consultant
Cognizant is still a very young player in this arena. There is not much learning opportunities and he experience of working in cognizant as a consultant doesn't really count.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Would change how there's No Team here.
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
horrible Pay and no employee appreciation
Employee - Manager
has scale but really mundane IT work that is billed at a higher rate just because of being labeled and done by the consulting group within the organization
