Employee - Managing Director
No culture
Employee - Managing Director
Old fashioned structures, strong hierarchical thinking, closed circle of friends - difficult to establish as a person to come from outside the organisation, thinking in silos
Employee - Managing Director
executive level management and structure needs to change

i can rate this bank based on my experience both prior and interacting with the bank as a former employee. it went from excellent to doubtful to continue
Employee - Managing Director
Credit Suisse WAS a great place to work. Unfortunately, with the current changes and leadership, it is sadly no longer the case.
Employee - Managing Director
There is a great deal of change afoot at Credit Suisse. If you are going to join this bank, you should do a lot of due diligence and really understand what it is you are going to do and for whom, ensuring you get a very strong commitment from them on your future with the firm. Get everything in writing as they have not been honoring previous commitments and are creatively interpreting contractual language to their benefit. And if you have an alternative, go elsewhere, at least until the dust settles.
Employee - Managing Director
Given the current leadership and 'strategy', I would not recommend joining Credit Suisse. Currently, their only objective appears to be to cut any possible cost, without regard to profitability or control function.

Needs improved management turnstyle, no real leadership, old boys club. no real change
Employee - Senior Vice President
The company is overrun by Indians. They have no respect for Americans and American culture. Sometimes you can't even here an English language for the whole day
Employee - Senior Vice President
Just mind your own business and deliver 100%
Employee - Senior Vice President
Senior management needs to be educated. Get most of the H1-B consultants off the project.

"DON'T GET CAUGHT" & "Deny deny deny" culture

I leave this employer off my bios.

Work force is substandard. Credit Suisse cannot recruit top tier management talent. I was aware of improper / restricted activity by senior management. Extremely disappointing experience. Comp is below average.
Employee - Vice President
Old school demagogue.
Employee - Vice President
Change the culture or this great brand will die.
Employee - Vice President
CS has not changed keeping with times. Perhaps it has lost its identity due to poor hiring practices and stagnant growth. Credit Suisse is stuck in Flinstone's era.
Employee - Senior Vice President
Highly intelligent, innovative and hard working. These are smart admirable people who hold themselves to high expectations and high quality work product.
Employee - Senior Vice President
They hire talent. If they interview you and offer you a job / you're top quality
Employee - Vice President
It was not a place to go to get any formal training since everything I learned was on the job. At the time, I was not very impressed with their IT or analytical tools for modeling, but I suspect that changed. It also might be that major offices (London, NY) are better set up.
