There is very little room for advancement. The company was great though when I needed time off for medical reasons and the benefits are good.

Credit Suisse is a traditional investment bank. There are hard working, motivated employees, who are there to earn their bonuses and break their backs to do it. There are not a ton of training opportunities, you do that for yourself on your own time. Most employees have advanced degrees. Do not expect them to train you, that is on you to do for yourself.
