It's completely clique based and toxic.

It has a good reputation. They do a great job with branding and representing themselves as leaders in the market.

It was very artificial and just about numbers rather than caring about the employee

Our core values, defined by the team, not the leadership are as follows: 1. Challenge Hard 2. Bring Energy 3. Go Together 4. Take Ownership These are value we all sign up to and live by, which makes for lots of happy people fighting to generate the creative and commercial tension required to create disruptive, new propositions. It's very much a family feel, and as part of a larger business since 2017, has really galvanised the Market Gravity team in the UK and other offices around the world.

Deloitte's culture is primarily for caucasian males to succeed. It is very hard for a person of color to succeed. To make it even worse, they actually took away the affinity groups that various communities used to enjoy within the firm. Deloitte's culture is a very ambiguous and cut-throat culture.

due to the way in which incentives and quotas are defined for partners, there is not much collaboration between business lines; In the event of a transversal opportunity, the price case results in very high amounts due to the redundancies introduced by each line

Monitor Group was brilliant but not at all pragmatic. Clients could not implement based upon findings or recommendations

you are a totally dispensable resource, free to remove at any time; the only metric that finally matters is profitability, everything else goes to the background or is ignored

Instant recall with most firms (at least in my industries - Retail and CPG). People tend to lean towards believing that S&O folks would have a good mix of business and technical aptitude.

Excellent pay and benefits, and based on conversions with peers at other firms, a more employee-focused firm than the other Big 4

The reputation does not match the reality. They are a bunch of wannabee "McKinsey" top tier consulting firms but are actually rather poor at what they do.
