Great to opportunity to learn when you are begining your profesional career. Usually the work environment is good, can work with some of the best people, the recruiting process is good and all people are similar and homogeneous. There are opportunities to grow up if you are smart and a hard worker. The career path is sometimes stressing and sometimes you have to resign some personal time. But the experince is great and you can learn and grow faster.

At a global level, Deloitte has very good leadership with a clear vision and good communication skills. It is working hard to have a common methodology, common processes, procedures and metrics for all the Global firm. Local firms (Argentina in my case) does not have good leadership. They do not have yet a global vision and are too much focused in local or regional issues. They do not leverage on the global firm. It seems as if they want to maintain some independence instead of integrating with the global firm. Also, they are working and doing business as an small company, meaning that they spend time and resources with small clients and projects that are not profitable for a big global company. I think that one main problem is that Deloitte is not a Global Firm, but a consolidation of Member firms. Local Member firms, and local leadership, are not measured by global parameters, so they are more focused on local issues than in a global integration.

Employee - Manager

On a Global perspective the culture is typical of any Consulting firm. Leadership has a clear vision and they know how to achieve the vision. They are working hard to communicate the culture and engage people on a more dynamic and professional culture. Communication is good but sometimes it conflicts with local member firms cultures. What stands out is the effort to build a global firm. On a local perspective, culture is more narrow-minded in my opinion. Leadership, at this moment, is not up to integrate globally, but keep working on local stuff. What stands up is the good quality of people that is working in Deloitte.

Employee - Manager

Because Deloitte Consulting is part of the auditing firm, it has a good market reputation. Also it is improving it's Consulting reputation with a solid leverage on its methodology and tools.
