Deloitte Consulting runs a cut throat operation so the partners get their money. The business model is designed to pit workers against each other to chase for business from new or existing clients. Inexperienced managers are transparent about their pursuit of new business with clients - a turnoff. Experienced managers know how to cut out their coworkers to keep limited pieces of the pie for their own revenue quotas. Collaborative and polite people get stepped on. Deloitte treats their subcontractors worse.

Very poor recruitment process, entirely based on automated systems. Entirely turned toward self-preservation and protection, totally risk-averse, no talent search to speak of. In 14 application processes, I never spoke to a single person. I hold two masters degree, one in strategy and another in political science and have 15 years of experience working for public and private organisations. I applied for positions in Europe and Africa. I never recommend Deloitte, EY, The BCG or any consulting firm to anyone as they operate the same way anyhow.
