Employee - Associate/Consultant
Reputation seems good on a public relations side
Employee - Partner
The culture has evolved quite a bit since the new CEO has been put in place and its more of a "perform or else" culture without any sincerity.
Employee - Partner
They say all the right things but deliver on none of it.
Employee - Partner
Good reputation but expensive.
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
No stable career path. You are only going to get as far has the MD that controls you will let you get. So good MD = good career.
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
There is a lack of culture at FTI Consulting.
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
Fair reputation but not great. You'd rather me a a top 3 consulting firm
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
FTI does not advance the careers of its people.
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
Expediency drives whether or not promises are kept.
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
Fair. Reputation is that it is not at all global in its thinking. Lacks serious international experience in professionals claiming to be experts
Employee - Principal/VP/Director
Every man for himself type work culture.
Employee - Principal/VP/Director
Although it is potential this consulting firming and it's various departments are still too dysfunctional in the way they are structured and the focus is heavy on litigation. Also management isn't great- they lack vision and understanding needed from a true consulting firm.
Employee - Principal/VP/Director
For the most part, employees are friendly. There is little cross-polineation between departments despite some attempts in some areas. The senior management I worked with knew little of consulting and how it works- I think this is owed to their background being CPAs which does not a consultant make. They tend to hire also a lot of CPAs and MBAs rather than look at the skill set of the individual which is a shame because educated does not mean qualified to be an effective consultant.
Employee - Principal/VP/Director
They are know for their litigation work but not as a management consulting firm. A lot of my previous clients never even heard of them.
Employee - Principal/VP/Director
Management is lacking. Communication is non existent. Very political place to work. There is no common company culture.
