Very client focused and innovative.

Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant

Results oriented. Acknowledges performance openly, however, slow to reward monetarily or through promotion. Was considered in top 1% (1 of 300, out 30,000) consultants, rated a level 1 employee, however, never was asked about career path or given an option to be in management.

Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant

The structure was not widely published or known. My goal was to get so many hours per quarter and ultimately per year. Once we hit hour quota, we qualified for bonus. Bonus was set by management, criteria unknown.

Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant

Employees willingness to help/ assist one another, independent of management input or request

Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant

Well respected. Won a couple of jobs, just because it was "IBM." One one job, myself and my team walked into a company, and we heard the whispers, "IBM is here, IBM is here." It was a proud moment for us. Even more so as we delivered above their expectations.

The draw back is that they demand that you cut your rates and put you on mandatory furloughs cutting your pay by over 20%

Employee - Manager

At the lower levels it is a mixed bag. At all upper levels they are BULLIES

Employee - Manager

they get you in at a rate, force you to reduce the rate by 10-15% and on top of that force you to take 5-10 days off per quarter UNPAID

Employee - Manager

There is ZERO vacation time given. No benefits whatsoever.

Employee - Manager

Too diverse - EVERY person has a different dialect of English... TOO many mistakes. As a Sr PM the PMO believe they are the best but they make so many mistakes and are not experienced enough. They do not know how to do their job.

Employee - Manager

No one knows better

Employee - Principal/VP/Director

I think IBM has a unique value proposition as a consulting organization that has viable technology and research business lines. You get the opportunity to see and accelerate real technology innovation.

Employee - Principal/VP/Director

Diversity in terms of race, sex, age, geography, religion. IBM has a long tradition of commitment to being a truly global organization. Over the past 10 years however, there has been an erosion of trust that is driven by a Qtr/Qtr performance pressure... and that has had a negative impact on the overall culture.
