Quality of project and Harvard staff.
Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)
Matrix culture, but with very lofty annual growth goals (30%). Not sustainable and there is a high turnover.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Good upper management with good pay am benefits
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Jacobs sincerely cares about it's people and their safety program (not just on the job) is a testament to that.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
The people were great here.
Employee - Engineer
This firm has changed for the worst; it used to be that one could work ones way to the top with hard work and initiative. Now it is just who you know irrespective of your qualifications.
Employee - Engineer
The culture at the company is that if you have a different idea or input, you need to keep it to yourself because management knows best and expressing your opinions just gets people in trouble. Great business ideas keep being passed on because they are not the ones from the management.
Employee - Analyst / Associate / Consultant
Benefits are not competitive and company is not doing well
Employee - Analyst / Associate / Consultant
It runs very lean
Employee - Analyst / Associate / Consultant
Jacobs first line and middle management personnel are not familiar with what the subject matter experts do on a routine basis. They brought a person from the Kennedy Space Center that worked on the floor of the Vertical Assembly Building and made our supervisor. I worked in an analytical laboratory and this guy did not know a Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometer from a Scanning Electron Microscope but they made him our boss.
Employee - Analyst / Associate / Consultant
Keep your friends close and your enemies CLOSER!
Employee - Director
Jacobs Technology does not value or respect their employees.
Employee - Director
Culture of mistrust. Employees were not given responsibility. Non-Jacobs legacy employees were treated differently.
Employee - Director
Leadership was not trained and did not collaborate or communicate.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
They are losing government contracts and cutting people fast. People left are all the ones who cant get jobs elsewhere and working way too hard to get by
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Restrictions on the use of experience gained in Contract Management to improve the Contract Management protocol within an environment relatively new to federal government contract management.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Very old style management, whereby culture was based on an assumed position that new employees with advanced experience and education should do as told and maintain the status quo
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
The management that I reported to was not interested in the issues I had with the client but rather the dollars that were to be earned in each quarter of the year of the contract.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
It's a revolving door for employment.
