The person would have to understand that once you cross 60 years of age, you can no longer remain a partner at LEK. I was retained when I was 57 and it takes 2-3 years to make partner. That was not revealed to me during my interview process. If it had been disclosed, I would not have accepted the position as there was no longer term future there.
Employee
They did not follow through on certain incentive compensation promises for both landing new business or assisting with already sold projects made during the interview process.
Employee
I was assured that if I worked on any project that was collectively sold I would receive a 5% bonus. That did not occur. I was assured a 10% bonus on any sales I initiated and closed. I received the 10 only for the initial portion of the sale at a major insurer that LEK never could penetrate prior to my intervention. As there were additional portions to the sale as it was divided into smaller segments but cumulatively was a 7 figure sale, I only received the bonus for the first $275K and the rest of the sale I was not given a bonus although I continued working on the overall project.
Employee
There was a culture of greed at the partner level. Promises made were not faithfully kept.
Employee
LEK has a very strong reputation because it produces a very strong work product. They are known for hiring the brightest of the bright.
