Employee - Principal/VP/Director
Excellent reputation, especially when you mention that Protiviti is sort of a "spinoff" of Arthur Andersen's Risk Consulting division.
Employee - Principal/VP/Director
One firm, same culture around all offices in the world
Employee - Partner
Solid, but unimaginative
Employee - Principal/VP/Director
Compensation not very different from other consulting firms

I contracted with Protiviti through Robert Half Management Consultants. Otherwise I had little interaction with them.
Employee - Manager
Good internal structure and great people.
Employee - Manager
Well intentioned and full of integrity but not strong and vocal.
Employee - Manager
For client-facing employees there is a good structure of base and bonus across the board that increases as one progresses. For internal employees, the comp structure is weak and needs serious improvement.
Employee - Manager
Good for building and growing people, but runs too tight on spending money on employees and their development
Employee - Manager
Positive - the fact that I have a Big '5' name on my resume has been very helpful
Employee - Principal/VP/Director
Protiviti is focused on building it's organization from the ground up with millennials entering the workforce for the first time. And while that infusion of new energy is valuable, the leadership is very much out of touch with the market (I was involved with Identity & Access Management/Data Security). Protiviti having been established by former Arthur Anderson folks still has an archaic approach to the running of the company that is stifling and counter intuitive. I found that Protiviti is more concerned with maintaining their status quo than developing their human capital.
Employee - Principal/VP/Director
The Protiviti culture varied quite a bit from local office to office. The impression one presented of a young vibrant progressive company is not indicative of the senior leadership or their approach to business processes. Additionally, Protiviti is owned by Robert Half and relies very heavily on independent consultants for staffing in some key areas of business instead of employees.
Employee - Principal/VP/Director
In my area of expertise, I&AM, Protiviti is not considered a player.
Employee - Associate/Consultant
culture is very friendly and there is respect at all level
Employee - Associate/Consultant
Customer driven practice

Different industries have different consulting/advisory needs and expertise. For the most part, Protiviti has a solid reputation, albeit on the pricier side. This is an objective opinion based solely on the question and not my personal negative opinion of the firm
