It is a merit based organisation, and everyone is given a fair chance right from recruitment as a junior consultant. The culture is very competitive and very tasked focussed, hence the long hours people have to work. However in some territories, this is also changing as the focus on people's welfare is also balanced out.

The key remuneration is the base salary. The health benefits in some regions are excellent as well as other benefits, but it is not standard across territories. If you are negotiating your remuneration, focus on the base salary.
