Good work/life balance: while there is always the potential to be staffed on a project with demanding travel and 8AM-10PM hours daily, it was not the norm at PwC. Breadth of industries served: PwC is active in most industries and has opportunities in most of the sectors an employee could be interested in. Resources: as a large and well funded company, the it, travel and research resources are extensive - pulling expensive industry or trend reports to support an engagement is never a problem. People: Compared to other firms I've worked with PwC's people are intelligent and easy to work with and leadership in particular (i.e. partners and directors) are stronger than at other consulting firms I've been a part of.

The salary structure at PwC is very transparent - you are shown in detail where your pay is relative to other people at your level, and there are clear explanations for your specific compensation both in terms of base salary and annual performance bonuses. The salary ranges are structured such that compensation feels fair. The bonus pool increases significantly for managers and above.

As is the case with most consulting firms the travel perks are good (i.e. flexibility in choosing travel arrangements for projects, keeping points, etc.). PwC also has a very good 401k plan, and additional monetary incentives for wellness (i.e. working out, not smoking, etc.)
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
PwC's culture is very much about collaboration - for the most part the project teams I worked with were very tight, and it was a priority not just to produce top quality deliverables for our client, but also to have positive experiences as a team.

PwC's reputation is strong in Financial Services and in operations and IT consulting in general. I think PwC still has some work to do in terms of marketing its strategy work (as does everyone outside of McBainCG), but is improving on that front
