I would not recommend now, especially after the PwC acquisition. Even back when I was there, I would not recommend the Middle East offices.

The senior leadership team in the Middle East a few years ago was dominated by one nationality. That should tell you everything

Mediocre culture
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
PwC has introduced a lot of bureaucracy and forced regional S& offices to work in silos.
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
The culture seems to be very insular due to huge attrition at lower levels - top heavy and middle managers are crushing staff to try and stand out.
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
Leading firm but now a bit diluted due to confusion over level of integration with PwC.

Salary is about 30-40% below close competition (Deloitte FS, AT Kerney - Tier 2 MC companies. Projects scopes and hours are although very similar.

It was very good when I was joining in (it was a team of ~20 people who came directly from Roland Berger). It grew larger but the average skill set of employee dropped significantly since I joined. I am afraid it might have had a negative impact on PwC Strategy& practice market reputation. Overall I think it is still very strong.
