As Booz & Co (prior to the PwC acquisition) market reputation was very strong and in the same realm as McK, Bain and BCG. Post acquisition, everything changed -- We suddenly weren't in the "top 4" anymore, and alot of the smartest people left for those other firms. Now, you have to make sure you are working with a previous Booz team to get the same quality of work -- if it's muddied down by legacy PwC people, it gets complicated, and outcomes aren't as effective.
