Employee - Analyst / Associate
My suggested change is to make it a higher priority to listen and appease to the drivers, including allowing tipping in-app.
Employee - Principal / Managing Director / General Manager
The pay is not where it needs to be. Decent equity, but base salary is way below where it should be.
Employee - Principal / Managing Director / General Manager
Culture is aggressive but still collaborative.
Employee - Principal / Managing Director / General Manager
It is a meritocracy here. Best idea wins.
Employee - Assistant / Coordinator
Needs more collaboration with management.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
I'd encourage an mprovement in intra-company SLA's. The current performance management program creates immense pressure/stress.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
String culture of performance and execution. Moves at a very fast pace.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Aggressive, competitive, fair, fast-paced culture.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Things are not set in stone here, you have to find your own way. Everyone has high expectations, lifework balance can be hard, a lot of times you wont want to leave the office because it can be so exciting.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Culture is fast, hard work, fun, not too serious, committed, understanding, open.
Employee - Entry / Intern
Uber needs to be more upfront about rules.
Employee - Entry / Intern
Culture is open and young.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
It's great fun working here.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
A company culture that goes by, "The best ideas win!"
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
No direction from leadership. They just run from crisis to crisis. Leadership is very clique as most came from similar past companies and favor/discriminate based on if you worked with them previously. The planning that IS done is almost always at such a high strategic level that there is often no tactical way to reach planned goals
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
After working for more than 3 months, you'll want to work elsewhere. You'll think it's an awesome job due to it's sexy reputation, but you learn it's a Ship of Fools and will need to get out before other employers start to realize this
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Uber has lot's of turnover. Company is led and managed by a Ship of Fools. Clique environment with leadership strategy that almost ensures failure to achieve goals. Company is bleeding cash with no regard for watching budgets. Strongly reminds me of the pre-2002 IPO run-up but on a huge scale
