Mid-Career Transitions – Designing a Path Forward

How do I leverage all my years of experience? What happens when the market has changed? Where do I begin and how do I know this is the right path for me?

When making a mid-career transition, it’s not often an easy decision and it doesn’t usually happen overnight. In times of COVID, the decision to pivot careers may be even more challenging. Led by Columbia Business School’s Career Management Center, this webinar will focus on how to design a plan and position yourself for a successful career transition.

About Presenter:

Nancy Johnston is the Director, Alumni Career Management at Columbia Business School. She leads the efforts to provide resources and programming to alumni of Columbia Business School, including providing individual leadership and executive coaching, and career management advising. Prior to joining the Business School in April 2017, Nancy worked at Chicago Booth in a corporate relations role and as a coach in Booth's Career Management Center. Nancy has also held a variety of marketing management positions, primarily in entrepreneurial firms in the software industry. She holds a B.B.A. in Marketing and Finance from Loyola University, a M.A. in Counseling and Organizational Psychology from Adler University in Chicago, and an MBA from DePaul University. She is a certified coach in the popular Designing Your Life program, along with additional coaching certifications.
