Broad Executive MBA applicants must have an undergraduate degree from a recognized college or university, with a recommended grade point average of 3.0 in the last two years of undergraduate study. A college algebra class and a statistics class are required, but no business courses or other prerequisites are expected. The Executive MBA program includes participants from many different academic backgrounds who realize the need for further business knowledge.

The Broad Executive MBA online application is available on this website. Applications for the Executive MBA program are accepted and reviewed through April 1st each year. When your application is received, you will be sent a confirmation, which will list any remaining requirements and/or questions about your application. The Executive MBA admissions committee meets regularly and reviews applicants on a rolling basis beginning in early October. Although each year the admissions deadline is typically April 30, serious applicants are urged to apply as early as possible.

Candidates who have successfully earned an advanced degree (doctoral or masters) and/or those with ten or more years of strong career progression are generally granted a waiver of the GMAT/GRE requirement. To request a waiver, candidates should check the WAIVER REQUEST box on the Test Scores section of the online application.

Candidates whose transcript(s) and/or work experience do not demonstrate sufficient quantitative or academic preparedness, and or those with less than ten years of post-undergraduate career success are generally required to submit a strong GMAT or GRE score to be competitive in the admissions process.

Any applicant whose waiver request is not approved will be contacted and encouraged to submit a GMAT/GRE score prior to receiving an admission decision.

The diploma for the Broad Executive MBA graduates states: Master of Business Administration. The transcript will read: Master of Business Administration. It is the same title as the Full-Time MBA at The Eli Broad Graduate School of Management. The major listed on the transcript will be: Integrative Management. The Executive MBA is fully accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International.
