They change strategy too frequently. We were providing free consulting service to our parent company for a major ERP project but the parent company decided after a year they did not want change management on the project and also decided to drop the other project we worked on CPW. This was a waste of good consultants assigned to a project where the client didn't want the consulting.

Pay is ok. No bonus which is standard for consulting.

Most consultants were competent. Some should not have been consultants as they didn't have the right people skills. They were quick to let people go if sales was suffering.
