People are taken care of and the company is seen as a family, even given how much it's grown over the past few years. Partners and Leadership are demonstrating being able to keep the small firm culture through expansion. 1) Checks and Balances - They have different personalities and approaches, so when they get together, they come up with an approach that satisfies most people. 2) Approachable - The partners and managing directors are very approachable, they don't have a superior air about them at all. 3) Reasonable - One thing I always appreciate is they are people who "roll up their sleeves and get dirty" -- they wouldn't ask an employee to take on a workload or activity that they wouldn't do themselves

Compensation is based on level, company performance, and individual performance. They reward people who go above and beyond. Acquis does not qualify for FMLA, and they do not offer much compensation in terms of maternity/paternity leave, but are often flexible about how much time you can take off while still holding your job - in many cases longer than FMLA.

People care about each other's success. There are no limits to the amount of people at each level, so the competition does not exist. People are very responsive when you have questions or need to ramp-up on a topic you aren't familiar with - we take care of each other, and that makes the firm successful as a whole. We also have a lot of fun, whether at happy hours or just everyday in the office. There isn't the "watchful eye" that a lot of other consulting firms have - the leadership and managers trust the employees. Though we are not allowed to work from home, but I believe that is less about trust and more about sustaining the culture.

We are represented at some of the top companies in the world, and our reputation is growing organically - we do not advertise like the big firms. In certain areas like Corporate Travel, we are very well known.
