Company was very conservative regarding dress code and telecommuting. Lots of ex-military which may contribute to this. Achievements such a proposal wins were never formally celebrated. There used to be holiday parties and picnics but these were discontinued - few, if any, opportunities to get together outside of the office. There has been a significant change in management since I left a year ago, so this may have changed.

The company was acquired by Veritas a few years ago and there have been MANY changes at all levels since then. I believe Alion is in a transitional stage. It may turn out to be a great place to work or it may not. The new management team seems strong - lots of talent came over from Booz Allen.
