A&M generally has a compensation structure with a high variable component, based on the amount of collections that hit the firm's bank account by their fiscal year end. Depending on the exact part of the practice, they pay out over 50% of this to their employees, on average, which results in good bonuses, on an initially slightly below average base salary. They also have a 401(k) match and good benefits.

People make their own arrangements for child care as the majority of employees are travelling to clients and not regularly commuting to an office.
