Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Company has very high standards and metrics driven. Specific culture needs to be embraced to adopt and survive.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Clear path of how to move to the next level up.

They love employees who are good at problem solving, the ones who have an acumen for problem solving
Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)
The culture they follow is really motivating
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
There's some efforts to centralize formerly decentralized (and often scattered) efforts throughout the company. This can lead to much better outcomes, but one of the ways Amazon remains so successful is because of the decentralization and freedom to innovate. I'd like to see a little more moderation and thoughtfulness in how the process happens, though some centralization is definitely a good thing (reducing duplication of effort).
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
The company is working on things of almost unimaginable scale, pushing envelopes, in a culture that is intense, but values intellectual capacity above all.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
I love the culture, but it's not for everyone. It's incredibly driven, and it is a magnet for people who are passionate about their work and tend towards workaholism. It's not a requirement that you work grueling hours, but the culture doesn't discourage it. This is really about managers, where leadership definitely has an "always on" mentality. If you love to get things done, and hate having to wait for people (particularly leadership) to get around to you, this is the place you want to be. Idea for a new product at 2am? You can probably text people and discuss it. Developers and other individual contributors tend to have less of this, and when they are not on-call will tend to work closer to an 8-ish hour day with lots of flexibility.
Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)
Company needs more diversity in terms of gender, origin, etc
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
I wish Amazon would implement charitable gift matching.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Amazon is a place where everyone is empowered to be an "owner" in their line of work. You're given a ton of responsibility and autonomy.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
You have the opportunity to solve some of the most fascinating, complex problems every day at Amazon. There's no better place to challenge yourself, to grow professionally, and to learn new skills/businesses than Amazon.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Incompetent middle management should change.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Amazon should be less frugal, more help to employees.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
You will learn a lot here. Everybody can take decision and run with them.
Employee - Director
I'd make adjustments to the executive management and recruiting team to I was able to.

Open and cumbersome work culture.

Amazon is the leader in cloud business and disrupting the we people doing business.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Very customer and innovation focused company culture. Competition is encouraged for helping customers not with peers. No silos and power houses are encouraged.
Employee - Entry / Intern
They are having growing pains.
