I'd recommend a change in the stock price.

Very good work culture.

Joining AMD could be a great challenge to beat a monopoly.

They treat women very well here, but it is a company filled with foreigners many of whom have a misogynist perspective toward women.

It's a very technical work culture, but not as stressed to deliver as other tech companies in the same space. A good place for a female engineer to work for sure.

Despite what I keep reading in the press, the company leadership is a mess. They change directions constantly and pit teams against each other. The CTO and CEO have no vision, that has been AMD's problem for a long time now, in the tech business, you need leadership with vision, especially at the CTO position. AMD's CTO has no vision at all, doing nothing to drive direction within the company. They pick a direction, then react with the market and/or competitors do something else that highlights the error in strategy.

It was like working at a funeral parlor. Everyone is always preoccupied with when the next round of layoffs are coming.

Most people view AMD products as the "cheaper" alternative, not necessarily a good thing. Company has been failing for years, so not a great tick on the resume. Over the past 4-5 years the company has not made any money, so bonuses were not paid out.
