Employee - Director

Salaries tend to be on the low end of the market value band. Remnants of the 120 year old utility seep into the more cutting edge divisions. Tends to get lost in older processes that need refining or modernizing.

Employee - Director

The company has a long history (120 years+), good reputation in the industry, a major recognizable name in the USA, when I was there it was a Fortune Top 10 corporation, resume name recognition is universal.

Employee - Director

With constant, continual downsizing over my 12 years there, small pockets of organizations became focused on survival, instead of growth or evolution. The inevitable fights over shrinking resources led many groups to rely on finger-pointing and deflection as survival tools.

AT&T needs to provide mentoring to employees for fast tracking.

They had a well defined processes that worked well.

Culture is very friendly & supportive of local community.

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

Transparent environment is needed at this company.

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

Training was excellent - world class. Expectations was for long hours, weekends and overtime. Ability to move and around and do different things was great as well.

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

The culture is driven, aggressive and political.

Employee - Director

I would recommend working here but only for people who are a fit for the company and the culture. The company desires to become a software focused company but isnt yet through that transition. The culture is very pragmatic and heirarchy based.

Employee - Director

Culture is very pragmatic. A lot of the senior leaders have been in their positions for quite some period of time (e.g., not a lot of turnover with them and/or outsiders added).
