Bank of America Merrill Lynch is currently in the mix of changing and refocusing their business. With so many ongoing changes, it can be a bad time for a person to come into the organization. However, it is still a great company and has great vision for the future.

witnessed unethical and unacceptable work place behaviors from management and training leadership. several months after leaving supposedly this was dealt with and exposed and changes/terminations were imposed.

The advisor training program sets unrealistic goals and structure needs to be evaluated and redesigned to support interest and success of program. Turnover rate what embarrassing and high.
Employee - Associate
Rigorous program and unethical behavior in a wealth management atmosphere.

Very sales number driven with public embarrassment/ridicule when goals are not met. No career development program or succession plan for branch management. Strong history with previous success and growth; however reputation and customer base faltered from '07- '10. More emphasis placed on automation and account growth with a tremendous drop in full service for the customer.

Although I did not feel supported by the regional team in the area of development, training, coaching and leadership, my initial and immediate Banking Center Manager was one of the best manager's I have had in my career. She gave her all to the company for over 10 yrs in several locations, positions and regions; however, I do not believe the company gave her the same level of ROI she afford them.
Employee - Associate
Less focus on opening accounts and more focus on the customer experience and service to the customer for all their banking/investment needs. Less rotation of management throughout regional centers and more focused training for audit purposes and employee career growth.
Employee - Vice President
Change Management required documents are often redundant and never referenced--utter waste of time
Employee - Senior Vice President
Nasty, fake, back-stabbing, focused on appearance over substance, untrustworthy colleagues, public shaming, horrible behavior
Employee - Senior Vice President
Don't go to this company
Employee - Senior Vice President
Corrupt, back-stabbing culture prevalent at all levels and in all functions, even HR.
