Employee - Managing Director
Overly bureaucratic approaches that are over engineered and miss big challenges or opportunities.
Employee - Managing Director
Overly prescribed culture. My personal experienced is dated but I am not aware of significant changes in approach.
Employee - Associate
Given the chance, I would improve the company's pay
Employee - Senior Vice President
Corporate culture is not positive -- it is passive aggressive Contributions are not appreciated
Employee - Senior Vice President
After the financial crisis, people saw that BAC was not the bastion of integrity that it claimed to be and unfortunately, instead of being experience that you could be proud of and highlight on your resume, potential employers raised an eyebrow, "Oh, you were at BAC..." I never ever thought BAC would be a liability on a resume -- currently, things have gotten better regarding BAC's reputation, but there is definitely not the sense of pride that it used to engender
Employee - Senior Vice President
The culture is extremely passive aggressive There is considerable effort made towards breaking people down until they mindlessly comply because they are afraid to loose their jobs When I first joined BAC, the culture was positive, always looking for opportunities to continuously improve and enable high performers to move up, when I left, the culture had changed to "it is a privilege to have a job working at BAC, if you don't like it, leave"
Employee - Analyst
I would change the compay's flexibility at work and competitive pay.
Employee - Associate
Their management team. Unintelligent and incompetant. They really do not understand what they want to do with the Merrill Edge service offering.
Employee - Associate
Nice people however, the management team created a culture of misdirection and uncertainty of direction at all times.
Employee - Vice President
Should expect to get laid off at this company
Employee - Vice President
Dog eat dog culture
Employee - Senior Vice President
Company should support the employee base - they are the most valuable asset the company has.
Employee - Senior Vice President
deteriorating culture
Employee - Senior Vice President
Attitude and environment the people are commodities. People in New York are a cost liability. Limited promotion for white males given the management focus on shortlisting only women when possible.
Employee - Senior Vice President
Have an exit plan, because they already have plans in place if you are not there
Employee - Senior Vice President
Only old British white men as leadership of technology infrastructure. Air of ethnic preference in certain roles. Culture is stay low, ignore, don't execute and fudge the numbers
Employee - Managing Director
Lack of focus on serving clients.
Employee - Managing Director
Focus is on winning business, not quality of execution
Employee - Senior Vice President
Company should have less focus on fees and service charges/profitability and much more emphasis on consumers and customer satisfaction.
Employee - Senior Vice President
Highly highly competitive and aggressive. It's definitely not a place where one gets too comfortable with.
