There is a high number of exceptionally smart people here. Friendly. Very entrepreneurial. Leadership liked to meet people at all levels. Felt somewhat like a family.

Seems that the lack of care or concern for associates other than executives stems from the Blackstone culture pushed through to their investment companies. People are pushed to work extreme hours, not appreciated. Management is haphazard at best, makes quick reckless decisions, and then turns in the opposite direction as a moments notice. Lots of wasted productivity.
