Employee - Associate
Culture needs to change
Employee - Senior Vice President
The culture was open and quite cerebral -- I worked in the equity derivatives group -- so, I worked with highly skilled and talented professionals.
Employee - Senior Vice President
One should know that decision making is highly centralized -- in Paris.
Employee - Senior Vice President
As a foreign bank, management was highly centralized. Senior managers in Paris had to be called upon for the most decisions, oftimes, as a detriment to efficiency and client needs. The New York bank, a profitable operation for the bank should have more autonomy. There was no real effort to encourage women and minorities as professional investment bankers -- no mentoring programs or buy-in from senior management to increase abysmally low numbers.

Employee - Managing Director
It is less cut throat and generally people are pretty friendly and collaborative. Just a bit slower vibe vs. the American or other European banks.
Employee - Managing Director
Culture is still very French. Want all the employees to learn French.
Employee - Managing Director
At the senior level still dominated by the French even in Asia.
