Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
Booz Allen is a reputable firm with excellent contracts serving the government sector and would provide a great opportunity for someone working in sectors such as technology, cybersecurity and defense.
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
Established. More focused on today than the future.
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
Uncertain. Booz Allen was shifting to an emphasis on staff working on site at client offices, which make interaction with other employees difficult. I didn't feel like I was part of a truly large enterprise and it was hard to communicate with key people in my sector of the company. The focus was on working for the client and completing the contract.
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
Good. The name carries weight.

Former Employee - Manager
Very poor work-life balance.
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
Strongest team in the US and thus largest cumulative experience and IC material on large transformation topics.

Client confidentiality is paramount here.
Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant
The market reputation is a bit messed up by the frequent rebranding / name change (BAH/Booz/PWC...).
Employee - Associate/Consultant
Very much partner dependent. My partner retired, recommended me for an overseas posting, but I had started my own firm and decided to give that a few years' effort.

Persistent

Food, flex time, and telecommuting. Also, coverage for laundry and dry cleaning when on the road.
Employee - Associate/Consultant
I did not feel that Booz Allen was as comfortable re-integrated working mothers or women returning from taking care of an elderly family member as some other firms have been reputed to be.
Employee - Associate/Consultant
Strong, but I am more familiar with their healthcare and gov't business sectors than other ones.
Employee - Associate/Consultant
I was there from 1981-1985, so it's unclear this is terribly relevant now. But I was invited based on your knowing that, so I'm responding.
Employee - Associate/Consultant
Most of the leadership at the time I was there have now retired, and my immediate boss died last year.

Market reputation is quite good.
