Employee - Director
I would recommend this company to fairly junior people with up to 7 years experience in the Pharma industry. The company presents many opportunities for growth and learning due to its diverse technologies and broad customer base.
Employee - Director
Somerset site was divided into a manufacturing site and Corporate Headquarters. The mfr site was treated as the unwanted stepchild by corporate hdqtrs staff. Headquarters was overstaffed whereas the mfr site was understaffed. Attitude of Hdqtrs staff was one of entitlement. Corporate groups had a tendency to burden the mfr sites with unnecessary requirements and demanded all kinds of metrics that were labor intensive and took away from the mfr sites ability to serve the customer. Overall, work was piled on to the employees. The more you did the more that was expected of you. Little to no support of middle Mgmt (Directors) by senior mgmt.

Expect to work long hours. You will undoubtedly learn alot while there. Don't expect much in the way of raises. Start looking for a better job once you have picked up on the knowledge and skills needed to move to the next level. Opportunities for promotions are limited unless you are perceived as a superstar or work for an enlightened manager.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Very technically adavanced company with strong HR programs
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Working at Catalent was a great experience to me. The HR practices, policies, and procedures are the most updated, comparing to the market. The work environment allows you apply innovation and creativity, and you can see this in its products and services. I am proud of having been part of their team. When someone asks me about which company I learned more and applied my HR knowledge, I always say, Catalent.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Catalent is a great place for innovative, creative, and talented people to work. The leadership is open to new ideas, which is also a company value. The professional who wants to make a difference in a company, that is the place. Catalent was a great place where I have worked, and I can say without doubts that my ideas always mattered there.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
This company has well-defined processes, and small and optimized teams. A hands-on professional has more chance to succeed at Catalent.
Employee - Analyst / Associate / Consultant
The team I worked on was well developed and supportive at the time I worked there. The company offers reasonable benefits and PTO. Lacking in addtional benefits except the highest echelon of management.
Employee - Analyst / Associate / Consultant
There was at least a nod to family/work/life balance, but I believe that was primarily at my immediate manager level and that I was shielded from a less benevolent upper management.
Employee - Analyst / Associate / Consultant
Get expectations set clearly in the beginning.
Employee - Director
Terrible management. Blame culture.
Employee - Director
Always looking for someone to blame and passing it down the hierarchical ladder.
Employee - Director
The company has a good reputation based on its past. It's no longer as good as it used to be, but the reputation remains.
Employee - Director
No work life balance. The company have no vision and work is not sustainable. Culture is very damaged.
Employee - Director
It was a war zone. Hair on fire everyday. No teamwork. Everybody was working in silo. It was very hard to build relationships or gain trust with peers.
Employee - Director
I was so excited to finally break into Human Pharm culture. This was the worst work experience of my career. I feel like I wasted my time and energy. I am completely dissatisfied with every aspect of this experience. Happily exited the company.
