Censeo prides itself on its culture, and I agree, it is a great culture - supportive, balanced, high standards for delivery. However, it has become a liability because cultural fit has become a weeding out factor at the expense of expanding our offerings and growing the business.

Censeo has a great culture and offers analysts early responsibility far eclipsing that which would be available at other firms. The company is not your typical government contractor, primarily taking on short-term strategic and operational projects, rather than longer-term PMO-style projects that are typical at other federal consultancies. With that said, the company does the majority of its work for the public sector, which is a plus for many, but if you're looking for a lot of private sector experience, this isn't the place.

People at Censeo look out for each other and are never competitive. Everyone is willing to take time out of their day to help a colleague. Additionally, the "extra-curriculars" at Censeo are very active - with softball, happy hours, and many other social committee-organized events, Censeo allows you a chance to bond with coworkers outside of the office. The staff gels very quickly and before long you're walking into an office full of intelligent and passionate colleagues who you also consider good friends.
