Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Work hard play a little company culture. Many people are overworked and diving and catching is rewarded rather than doing a job well in the first place.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
It's very political here and your network is very important.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
There are constant layoffs or fear of layoffs here. Company is throwing away older employees for younger ones, because of costs, not because of lack of skill or willingness to learn. If you're with a good group, you're riding high, but if youre not you're sweating your job. Very political.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Hiring/layoff cycles needs improvement - figure out a way to keep more employees, rather than constantly introducing uncertainty/fear each year.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Very sales-oriented, but very good team spirit.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Cisco is very well run. Not sure I would change anything.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
I would make things more agile. Making a simple change takes lot of time.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Cisco is a leader in information technology.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Collaborative, ethical and diverse company culture.
Employee - Analyst / Associate
Work life balance. You don't have to clock in. You can work from home or anywhere in the country. Collaboration tools allow you to join meeting from a cellphone or tablet. People are knowledgable. The company wants to change the world and that aligns with what I want to do too.
Employee - Analyst / Associate
If you build connections in the beginning of your career and make relationship with cross functional roles, you can have multiple careers all within the same company.

I wish that we had a better control system to narrow down the amount of existing social media accounts in our company's name. There must be over 200 Twitter and IG accounts, globally. I don't mind a few, but we should crack down on random employees making Cisco-involved handles.
Employee - Analyst / Associate
Most of the leaders lead by example and care about their people and the success of the company. I love the access I have, as an early-in-career employee, to a wide variety of mentors throughout the globe and across all functions. People are so helpful and willing to mentor the younger generation. I also love how great our social media brand has become over the past two years. :)

Many of us say: "One company, many careers." There are so many different functions and roles at this company, the opportunity to gain experience is endless.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Wish there are more opportunities for contractors to go permanent
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
There is a variety of telecommuting options, brilliant engineers, and a mature workforce.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Collaboration is key within the company. A team environment.

My suggested change is the job promotion/raise process

Your working experience at Cisco is dependent upon your manager. Network, network, network. Sometimes, it's more about who you know than what you know.
Employee - Analyst / Associate
Work hard, produce results kind of culture. Lots of diversity in workplace
