Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

It's too political here, culture antiquitated

Employee - Assistant / Coordinator

The value placed on employee retention is not as high as I believe that it should be. At any given time, regardless to high work performance and outstanding work reviews, employees can be displaced under the notion "restructuring for business needs". The problem is that the employees that are displaced create a productivity gap and it burdens those that are lucky to remain employed. The reality that at any given time senior leadership can decide to "restructure" the organization dampens employee morale. Employees are made to feel less valued and uncertain about job stability.

Employee - Analyst / Associate

Flexible in all ways, not just in working anywhere you want, but giving you a choice for what you'd like to do.

Employee - Analyst / Associate

You'll have the chance to work with multiple cultures and have the ability to spearhead in technology.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Remove the culture of long time contractors.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

I think most of what I would change is already in process. There was a lot of executives that were not carrying their weight, were entitled, and building fiefdoms. A lot of those people have been cut so hopefully the company is at a place where they can stop re-organizing every year.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

You will have to learn how to promote yourself to your peers, boss, & boss's boss. The company is so large there is a limited amount of resources, raises, & promotions to be divvied up. So you need to be willing to build this skillset. It is not sufficient to do a good job (which I believe is the case at most companies).

Employee - Analyst / Associate

If given the chance to do it over, I would have joined the sales department instead of Advanced Services.

Employee - Analyst / Associate

An environment that works hard and together.

Employee - Entry / Intern

The only thing I would change is to have more frequent in person team gatherings. But then again, many people love the flexibility of Cisco so just a personal preference.

Employee - Entry / Intern

Extremely flexible and you can make the most out of family & work life. Global company is exciting because work with people from all over the globe. Seems that there is always a push to keep the employees as happy as possible. We also are very passionate about giving back to the community. Having 40 hours each year to volunteer is a unique benefit to have and it not only positively impacts the employee, but also the community.

Employee - Entry / Intern

The benefits are hard to match at any other company. The ability to work from anywhere in the world and also the ability to use work hours to give back is absolutely incredible to me. I am proud to say I work at Cisco.

Employee - Analyst / Associate

Culture is like none other.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Better collaboration between organizations to prioritize in the same way and work towards the greater good for the company

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

One either really likes working for Cisco or hates it.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Focused on customers, innovation, and ethics.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Cisco should invest in their people

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

The company is solid, financially.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Wouldn't suggest as a place to work right now. Cisco has an unclear go to market strategy, constant head count reductions, significant reduction in compensation and very low morale.

Employee - Assistant / Coordinator

Has relaxed, easy going, flexible work schedules. Work culture is really well because the employees make it enjoyable in spite of the turmoil created with layoffs.
