Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

There is no corporate culture. The firm has several diverse operating units that provide financing and leasing to firms in different industries. As CIT acquired these divisions it did nothing to integrate their computers systems and processes. The firm thus has a mess of convoluted systems and processes that make it impossible to get anything done. The firm is chronically understaffed. Management will not invest in good employees and the tools necessary to get the job done right. And management will pressure employees to do things or sign off on things even though they are not adequately vetted or properly done. And if an employee points these things out they are considered to be insubordinate. It is a terrible corporate culture. Stay away!

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

There is no corporate culture. The firm utilizes a policy of intimidation to get employees to do what it needs done regardless of whether it is in the correct manner or even legal. Lots of bad things going on at this firm!

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

It is a collection of diverse business that would be better off as independent companies. Instead they are under one roof which is slowly falling apart. The company deserves to be out of business.

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

As a result of acquisition with One West Bank and firing of senior managment, coupled with new managment brought on to transition company the firm is in chaos. No clear direction, all new hires, no existing product expertise, and very poor leadership.

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

Nice people, but not very ambitious and/or specialized in their field of work. Many legacy staff without alot of depth of knowledge of the "outside" world. New senior management is mostly female, so male heavy domination of senior positions are beginning to change.

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

Always changing, no clear direction, investment in infrastructure must be made so that they may be more competitive.

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

Not female friendly. Difficult place to work, harsh environment. A lot of stress and pressure to deliver with little support internally.

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

Demanding, confrontational, harsh, back stabbing, high stress, little appreciation.

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

Very difficult to advance. Very little support at top levels of management. Employees are nice people but management needs quite a bit of work.

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

The company went all cheaper foreign workers with extremely poor management.

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

Before Jeff Peek took over the culture was fantastic, now it is horrible.

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

It has changed dramatically. If you are not Indian you will not fit in.

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

Only the people that are in the inner circle get promoted and get great bonuses. HR is not good and they don't treat woman very well. Poor Senior management

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

Not very inclusive and they are afraid of their own shadow

Employee - Vice President (VP, SVP, EVP, etc.)

I was able to build an internet bank from the ground up and that added tremendously to my skill set.
