Great mix of people from all cultures, ethnicities, countries and interests. It is trying to employ more MBA graduates than those with science backgrounds so that should help make the culture a bit less "scientific" and more business-oriented

We have been informed that we work with all but 2 of the largest 28 pharma/biotech companies and indeed in my projects I have worked for brand names. Thus, there should be a considerable degree of DRG brand recognition among our clients. However, I am less certain about how other consulting firms or the general public perceives DRG.

At DRG, each employee is treated as a unique and separate person likely because of the smaller size of the company which facilitates more inter-personal interaction. Also, the senior leadership team exert special effort to connect with the rest of the team.

Personally, I appreciate the allowance to work from home when there are special circumstances which necessitate it. As for gym memberships and other health-related perks and services, I believe that is part of the company health plan.

Since I'm a relatively new hire and the company is undergoing some policy revision, I'm yet uncertain about the pay structure. I could share that I received a sign-on bonus in addition to the base salary.

I would recommend this firm because of the vast number of opportunities to which that new hires are rapidly exposed. There is a steep learning curve as is common in this industry, but within a smaller firm such as this one, there are many chances for hands-on learning and apprenticeship which is another reason why this firm is great. At least speaking for the particular branch office at which I work, my managers are highly experienced and supportive and just very great people. There is never a feeling of being siloed. The Principals are very keen about cultivation of company culture and are successful in doing so. Lastly, the projects are very interesting. There is a broad scope of disease areas and key question types across which we work and so there is something new each time.
