The compensation structure is something that has recently been a work in progress and is not yet fully transparent to the staff. We know that compensation bands have been put in place but we do not yet know where we fall on the band. It's still a work in progress.

The approach towards work-life balance policies/perks are not consistent throughout the organization and can vary from office to office. For instance some firms allow working from home/telecommuting while some offices are strictly in office from 8AM-6PM M-F. Most of this largely has to do with different office cultures/different management preferences. That could also be another factor: there is a lack of unity among the management/leadership team in the kind of culture desired and how to execute on it.

Majority of DRG's consulting group is built of young individuals who are very ambitious and willing to work very hard (long hours, tough projects and deadlines, etc.) and this offers for a very intellectually stimulating and challenging environment where a lot of growth can be achieved if you can keep up and you're willing to put in the hard work. However, we still need to improve on unifying our vision of where we want to go as a firm and how we want to get there. Some people don't like that uncertainty; others don't mind.
