I would recommend Deutsche Bank, as a place to go, if you need a job. If you have other choices in hand I would study them carefully before committing to work for Deutsche Bank. Specially if you are looking for stablish a career in the financial industry or if you are trying to figure what do you want to in life.

Employee - Analyst

I am proud to have worked at Deutsche Bank as it showed me what I wanted to be and were I needed to be professionally. I learned about the pageantry that goes along to working for a company with a similar culture and goals.

Employee - Analyst

Deutsche Bank is very proud of its brand and history. However, senior and mid-level managers are primarily vested in the bottom line and what is required out of them. Instead of vesting themselves in to promoting a culture that goes hand in hand with their mission and vision. The expectations are very high every day, for everything, which is commendable for any organization. As the employees deliver, management seems to always find a way to come short in order to compensate, embrace, promote, and keep high performers. Only a "selected few" get to advance quickly when everything is measured equally across the board. Also, if you do not like the games that are played. Then, your best option is to quit and "Management" knows it. Even if you devote, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc, of your life to work with Deutsche Bank of still have to drink the cool-aid until. It is clear that the organization is very political and a corporate driven sleek machine. There is a strong connection between advancement and the personnel in exodus from New York City as the bank has primed itself to be more efficient while working with less personnel. The culture is highly intellectual and diverse for the vast majority as it is filled with professionals with advanced degrees of all sorts and there are many different races on board. I truly enjoyed the friendships that I developed during my time at Deutsche Bank and there are some that still maintain.

Employee - Vice President

The systems/applications used within Deutsche Bank. Everything else is absolutely fine!

The work process. Right now there is a lot of "last-minute" surprises in terms of work to be completed and no notice is given until the very last minute with not a lot of details about why something needs to be done ASAP. Communication is lacking.

Employee - Associate

During the onboarding process before starting to work for this company, be prepared to provide a lot of information and have to do it on your own. There is not a lot of "hand holding" in terms of paperwork and the HR staff and the actual people at your worksite may not be on the same page in terms of what is expected of you in terms of paperwork and actual starting the job.

Employee - Associate

All employees are very friendly and helpful. Everyone acknowledges hard work and the relationships are good in terms of providing information and answering questions. People take the time to explain things and ask questions that help others provide answers or where the question can be answered. People ask if they can help each other and provide information that helps a person do their job to the best possible outcome.

Employee - Vice President

At the time, to many management changes and not enough emphasis on employees, although I understand the culture has changed dramatically with more stability. Also, better communications with internal business partners.

Employee - Vice President

Be professional and be able to work in a team environment. Don't be afraid to bring any ideas to management as they will try to implement any good suggestions that may help streamline a process. People are friendly and will work with you to gain a better understanding of the company.

Employee - Vice President

For the most part people are friendly, courteous and professional. The atmosphere is casual with a professional flair. They try to keep up with things to benefit the employees.

Employee - Managing Director

The DB global CEO was not performing well which did affect the management of APAC business, but overall the firm is still good.

Employee - Vice President

Employee - Vice President
