Employee - Principal/VP/Director
BEE policy of firm does not provide an equal work environment. No reasonable career progression for non-BEE staff above assistant manager level. BEE employees alone receive additional salary increases and bonuses. Early KPI ratings are manipulated in order to meet certain quotas for example down grading deserving staff members in order to increase performance ratings of BEE candidates not deserving thereof. Entity is no longer focussed on exceptional client service but rather where it can cut corners to safe costs.

Impulsive, short term decisions

EY dubai is a good place to work given the diversity in culture and different nationalities. However unlike other consulting firms it is very risk averse and lacks the professionalism of providing growth or getting business aggressively.

Largely fixed salary in accordance with the Dubai labour laws. Variable portion was less than or equal to 1 month's pay. Increments were limited to 5-7%.

Low salary with focus on revenue only. Firm doesn't take care of employees. Advantage for employees: the reputation of the firm: easier to find a job after working for the firm

Great opportunity to learn the "big business", lots of tools and high access to information acquired globally and shared all across. High recognition on the job market.
