They are one of the big 4, I think they are perceived as roughly alike.

Tough school for learning good project management skills

Good in the financial services risk management area but weak in digital, strategy, and innovation.

Consistently listed as one of the best companies to work for in a myriad of listing, along with being known as one of the "Big 4" firms, there are very few negatives in the market.

EY is a career-oriented company. They are willing to invest in your professional and personal growth. Partners are very open to have conversations on career trajectory or moves.

Bad repitation

Former Employee - Manager
They treat you with no respet, you work more tan 8 hours every day, including sometimes weekends, with no extra payment. If you do not like them you can be fired.

EY has a solid market reputation.

I would recommend EY for any new graduate or someone within 5 years of starting their career. Experienced hires are really the "mules" asked to deliver consistently but with very little path for advancement. They are almost feared by Partner level management and are held back often or moved out of the firm to meet the financial projections (which provide pay for the partner level)!

Former Employee - Principal/VP/Director
They try to be collaborative and inclusive. I enjoyed the team environment as a junior person there. It was very social. I didn't know anyone in the area and soon developed lasting friendships with my coworkers. As I became more senior, the job became more cutthroat. I felt like I was competing against other partners to win work rather than collaborating with them.

Diverse, Smart people

Current Employee - Principal/VP/Director
The culture used to be collaborative, but over the last five years there's been a shift to "sharp elbows" and only lip service to caring about employees.

EY has great reputation. It is a solid name to have on my Resume considering the type of work that I get to do which is a bonus

Good smart people that care about delivery

EY is great at preaching an amazing culture and workplace. In reality, it is not the case. Management is unethical/engages is politics to a great extent.
