There is trust at the peer level. Horizontal integration- lateral flow of information. Entrepreneurial drive.
Employee - Manager
Very good at auditing level but very poor in consulting practices in India. Mostly serving to non listed Indian companies
Employee - Principal/VP/Director
Great work culture.
Employee - Principal/VP/Director
Strong emphasis on collaboration. This is driven down through all levels...so leadership sets the example.

EY is still working to drive awareness as a consulting practice.. too many companies still see the firm as tax and audit first.

EY leadership is a very visible about its support for diversity and inclusiveness. It is getting better at supporting families but the realities of professional services is that it is not inherently family friendly. EY leadership has greatly improved its focus on ensuring EY is a good place to work. Although EY's results have lagged leadership's vision, there has been a steady improvement over the past 4 years.
Employee - Manager
Good but not outstanding intellectual company. Rapidly changing brand from accounting firm to excellent business partner that can help across the entire organization. Clients love that EY is very easy to work with. EY's flexibility in solving problems and ability to partner across EY seamlessly to bring solutions is particularly appealing.
Employee - Principal/VP/Director
Culture of openness.

I worked in EY Mexico. The partners does not care about training, career development, we worked more than 12 hours a day, even on weekends and we only were allowed to charge 8 hours a day, they do not pay overtime, the salaries are miserables, they hired unexperienced and low salaried people and the partners sell them with the clients as an experts, the projects deliverables were low quality etc. etc.

Partners, range monthly salary: $100,000 to $250,000 mexican pesos, plus sports cars, boats, country houses etc. Senior Managers: $70,000 to $110,000 mexican pesos Managers: $20,000 to $60,000 mexican pesos Seniors: $15,000 to $20,000 mexican pesos Juniors: From social services with $2,000 (named "economic help" no salary) to $10,000. With the salary of Seniors and Juniors no one can afford the basic neccesities of life. In few words, poor people asking for money on streets earn more money that seniors and juniors (this was confirmed through an investigation done by a student in the Tecnologico de Monterrey University).

The best perks were only offered to Partners. They have cars payed by the Company, better medical insurance, bonus, training, travel in first class, Confortable offices, exclusive batrooms, parking, loans, and of course much better salaries.

There was only culture in paper and marketing brochures "quality in everything we do" the reality was other thing completely different. The partners expend a lot of time and resources to "wash your brain" trying to convince you about the false culture.
