Former Employee - Senior Manager

culture, expertise, market presence

Former Employee - Senior Manager

There was always a collegial atmosphere which was very collaborative with folks willing to help out.

Former Employee - Associate/Consultant

There market reputations are exceptional. My experience was less than professional.

Former Employee - Associate/Consultant

In other parts of the company, merit and work ethic were paramount. I lasted a month and felt i was being punished for previous managers hiring practices.

Former Employee - Associate/Consultant

Had to be part of the good ole boys club to get anywhere.

Former Employee - Senior Manager

Strong market recognition, especially in my area of practice.

Current Employee - Senior Manager

A leader in business transformation and digital innovation.

Current Employee - Manager

Driven by big 4 repute only

Employee

Knowledgeable and smart enough to identify workers talents placing them on the right projects

Employee

The expectation to work weekends and until midnight is ever present

Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant

Unclear about the firm's growth plans and strategy. Lack vision.

Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant

The firm lacks coherence ar country, region and global level. Multiple teams try to compete against each other to win work from the same group of clients. The audit independence requirement also impediments reaching out to wider market. Though Consulting or Non Audit revenue has increased substantially over the years and is close to 40% if the total revenue the firm is not clear on it ambitions and growth plans in this area. The firms is also using an expensive pricing model for its consulting business apparently derived from the Auditing / Accounting business and is amongst the most expensive players in the market with a narrow client base and even narrower marketing proposition to offer to potential clients. Politics plays heavily in the advisory part of the business and all of these results in a frustrating and demoralising work experience for the employee.

Employee - Principal/VP/Director

Huge discrepancy between externally promoted values of the firm and reality, very much dominated by not aligned individualistic partners, substantially inefficient operation

Employee - Principal/VP/Director

A group of paranoid diva's ready to sacrifice everybody getting in their way

Employee - Principal/VP/Director

Most benefits are promoted heavily (i.e. Flex time, flex working location) by HR, at the same time are not supported in the business (especially on partner level, still very concervative, control focused, micro management by partners)

Employee - Principal/VP/Director

Best description fo the culture is hypocrit discrepancy between what is communicated as the culture and what it really is, i.e. Care greatly about people vs partners milk everybody, flexibility in way to work vs. show your face as often and as much as possible in the office, business pursuits strongly driven by firm's strategy vs each partner runs after every market opportunity whether it makes sense or not

Employee - Principal/VP/Director

Excellent reputation - which is ridiculous

Employee - Senior Associate/Consultant

lacks of a HR policy to defend employees interests and well-being
