Employee - Director
There is no value assigned to loyalty and is no place for anyone who cares enough to voice an opinion regarding changes to improve the place.
Employee - Director
It was a sweat shop. People are abused by requiring long hours with no reward.
Employee - Director
You will be underpaid and undervalued. Learn as much as you can while you are there and plan to leave on your own terms after you have milked it for training and exposure to high quality projects. Don't ever expect to have your voice heard, your suggestions considered or to have your hard work rewarded or recognized. A manager or principal will take credit for all that you do.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Company politics were the worst ever. The quality of product was not as good as the firm from which I had been recruited (SOM). The firm did not deliver on its promises.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Company politics were the worst ever. True story: for example, my boss was told that he would be promoted to the Director of another office in a foreign country. He then relocated his entire family from SF to the foreign country. The day that Art Gensler was scheduled to publicly announce his promotion in the foreign country office, Art promoted someone else to the position instead.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Gensler is not as good as people think it is. Not recommended.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Didn't deliver on promises. Lower quality of product than the company which I was recruited from (SOM). Superficial.
Employee - Manager / Senior Manager
Worst company politics ever. For example, my boss was told that he would be promoted to Director of a foreign Gensler office. He then relocated his entire family to the foreign city. On the day that Art Gensler cam to the foreign office to announce that my boss had been promoted, Art announced the promotion of someone else instead. Not to be trusted!
